A 4K Netflix stream uses about 25mb/s. So now your down to 2 streams. You'd probably want 100mbps if your going to be doing 4K streaming. CenturyLink DSL is complete crap. Currently have Xfinity/Comcast in an apartment and regularly get speeds faster than what we pay for. Typical speeds are 130/25 and we pay 39.99 a month. The biggest thing people need to understand is that the cable company is only half to blame for poor internet connectivity. Went through similar issues with AT&T when I moved last June. They wanted to charge me an $80 installation fee even though I have my own modem so I was doing the install. So I said screw em and went with Xfinity. I also just have the basic internet, $20 for 20 down and it's plenty for one person to be streaming and surfing the internet ...Xfinity also has a 1TB data limit monthly on all their plans, including the gigabit internet you’re looking at. Xfinity Blast vs AT&T Internet 100 Hello everyone, I’ve been having so many issues with my xfinity WIFI lately and not to mention they don’t want to refund me $200 after sending back their xFi Pods 30 days late even though they delivered it to me passing the 30 days.Had WOW, then they were bought out by Astound.
